What the $49 download includes
Import your files
Load the CSV exports from the apps you use, or a CSV you map by hand, into one ledger on your computer.
Review, then calculate
Self-transfers are marked so a move between your own wallets is not treated as a sale. A short review list shows the rows that need a look. Cost basis is tracked per wallet with HIFO, and you can use FIFO or LIFO. Rewards and cash back are reported as income, separate from your sales.
Forms you can download
Form 8949 as a PDF and a CSV, Schedule D totals, and an import file for TurboTax, TaxAct or FreeTaxUSA. An offline license key unlocks the file downloads. Importing, reviewing and seeing your results are free to try before you buy.
On your machine
You run SatoshiSolver yourself. There is no account, and your transactions, addresses and balances are not uploaded.

Runs on your computer
SatoshiSolver is not a tax site that bills you every year and holds your history. The app stays on your computer, and the files stay with it.

The license key
After you pay, the key comes in the receipt email and you enter it on your own computer. SatoshiSolver does not keep a customer database of your tax records.
The free 1099-DA checker is separate. It runs in your browser and is not part of the $49 download.
Coming later
These are not for sale with the app. The kit already has its price. The plates do not, until they are made.
Family Access Kit
$29 for the PDF, or $69 bundled with the app. It is an inheritance workbook that pairs with the cost-basis records you keep for your heirs. It follows this first version of the app.
Steel seed plates
A steel backup for a seed phrase. Plates come after the software launch, and only after a prototype has passed review. No price is set, and they are not included with the $49 app.
