This policy covers the website satoshisolver.com, the free checker at checker.satoshisolver.com, and the downloadable SatoshiSolver app. They are offered by Elk Horn Enterprises LLC (SatoshiSolver is a product of Elk Horn Enterprises LLC), Bend, Oregon (“we”, “us”, “the seller”). The short version

The app collects no data and needs no account. Your data stays on your machine. This website doesn’t use cookies, analytics, or trackers. We receive an email address only if you write to us, or if Stripe shares the address you use when you pay, so we can deliver a license key and handle a refund.

The SatoshiSolver app

SatoshiSolver is a downloadable app that runs on your own computer. It collects no data for us. It needs no account, no sign-in, and no password. The transaction files you import and the reports you create stay on your machine. We don’t receive them, and we don’t want you to email them to us.

  • There is no SatoshiSolver account. Buying the app does not create a login.
  • The app talks only to your own computer. It is not reachable from the internet.
  • Your records live in a file on your computer that you control.
  • A license key delivered by email after purchase unlocks file downloads (the PDF, CSV and tax-software files). Importing, reviewing and on-screen results are free. The key is checked on your computer. Checking it does not upload your transactions, addresses, or balances.
  • If you use daily bitcoin prices, those are files you supply. We don’t receive them.

Buying the app

Paid sales are a one-time purchase of the downloadable app, handled by a Stripe payment link. The site does not run its own payment form, and the app itself does not collect payment details.

  • Stripe receives what its checkout asks for, such as your email address and payment method. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
  • We don’t receive or store your card number.
  • We don’t keep a customer database of our own. Stripe holds the payment record.
  • As the seller, we can see that purchase record in Stripe, including the email address used at checkout. We use it to deliver the license key and to handle a refund if you ask for one.
  • The license key is delivered by email after purchase. The installer you download does not contain your records.
  • That email address is not added to a mailing list, and we don’t sell it or use it for advertising.

This website

  • We don’t use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, trackers, or third-party scripts or fonts.
  • There are no forms that send data anywhere. The waitlist link opens your own email app.
  • The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical data, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

The free checker

The free 1099-DA checker at checker.satoshisolver.com runs entirely in your web browser. Your files are read on your device and never uploaded, and the page makes no network requests after it loads. It has no account, no analytics, and no cookies. It is separate from the paid app.

If you email us

When you write to hello@satoshisolver.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply. If you asked to join the waitlist, we use it to tell you about the SatoshiSolver launch. If you asked for a refund or a replacement key, we use it for that request. We don’t sell or share it. Ask us at any time and we’ll delete it.

Mail to hello@satoshisolver.com is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a Google Gmail inbox, so those providers process it. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

Don’t include transaction files, wallet addresses, balances, or tax reports in an email. The app collects no data, and we don’t need your records to help with a purchase.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell personal information.
  • We don’t run ads or build advertising profiles.
  • We don’t offer a SatoshiSolver account to sign up for.
  • We don’t take your bitcoin records onto our servers. Your data stays on your machine.

Children

SatoshiSolver is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new date. The version on this page is a draft until a final version is published.
